450x86x55 Rubber Track FAQs

What machines use 450x86x55 rubber tracks?

The 450x86x55 track size fits multiple mini excavators from major manufacturers including CAT, Bobcat, John Deere, Kubota, and others. Use the Track Finder tool above or check the compatible equipment list on this page to verify your specific model.

Can my machine run both a wide and narrow version of this track?

Mini excavator tracks are specific to each model. The width, pitch, link count, and guide type must all match your undercarriage. Do not substitute a different size without verifying compatibility with your machine manual.

Why choose aftermarket rubber tracks over OEM?

Aftermarket tracks from TrackTECH are manufactured to the same OEM specifications using ISO 9001 certified processes. Continuous steel cord construction, anti-abrasion rubber compound, and forged steel guides match or exceed factory quality. Aftermarket tracks typically cost 30-50% less than dealer pricing while providing equivalent performance and durability. TrackTECH backs every track with a 24-month warranty — longer than most OEM warranties.

How do I measure my existing 450x86x55 track?

Three measurements identify your track: width in millimeters (measured across the track face), pitch in millimeters (distance between drive lugs), and link count (number of drive lugs around the full track loop). These numbers are typically stamped on the inside of the track. For 450x86x55, you should see 450mm width, ["450", "86", "55"]mm pitch, and 55 links.

Should I replace undercarriage parts when installing new tracks?

Inspect your sprockets, front idler, rear idler, and bottom rollers when installing new tracks. Worn sprocket teeth cause premature track wear and slippage. Worn rollers and idlers cause uneven tracking and accelerated edge wear. Replacing undercarriage components at the same time as tracks maximizes the life of your new tracks and prevents damage from worn mating parts.
