These are not interchangeable by preference — the width your machine takes is set by the roller frame and sprocket it left the factory with. Wider tread floats better on soft ground and spreads ground pressure; narrower runs cheaper, turns easier and clears tight spots. Measure the existing track across the tread face before you order.
Tread choice for the New Holland EH35
Size gets the track on the machine; tread decides how it works and how long it lasts. What we stock for this one:

If the machine splits its time between surfaces, buy for the ground you are on most — a hard-surface tread on constant mud will spin, and a bar tread on concrete will wear out in half the hours.

How these wear
Excavator undercarriages load one side hard on slew and travel, so link cracking usually shows up before the tread wears out. Replace in pairs where you can: a new track running against a stretched one loads the drive unevenly and you will feel it in the steering.
