How Compact Track Loader Tracks Differ from Skid Steer Tracks
Compact track loaders (CTLs) and over-the-tire skid steer tracks both put rubber on the ground, but they're built differently:
CTL tracks are continuous rubber tracks engineered for dedicated track loaders (Bobcat T-series, ASV, CAT 2xx-series). They wrap around a purpose-built undercarriage with sprockets, idlers, and rollers.
Over-the-tire skid steer tracks bolt over existing wheels on a wheeled skid steer for temporary traction.
If your machine came factory-equipped with tracks, you need CTL rubber tracks — that's what this page covers. For OTT tracks, see our over-the-tire skid steer tracks.
What's the Right Size for My CTL?
Three numbers stamped on every track tell you the size: width × pitch × link count (e.g., 450×86×55 means 450 mm wide, 86 mm pitch, 55 lugs). The exact size is also listed in your machine's owner's manual.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do compact track loader tracks last?
Most CTL tracks last 1,200–2,000 hours depending on tread choice, jobsite surface, machine maintenance, and operator habits. C-block treads wear longest on hard surfaces; multi-bar treads grip best but wear faster on concrete.
Should I replace both tracks at the same time?
Yes. Worn or mismatched tracks accelerate undercarriage wear (sprockets, rollers, idlers) and can throw a track off the machine. Replacing in pairs keeps geometry true and wear even.
Do I need to replace sprockets, rollers, or idlers when I install new tracks?
Inspect them. If sprocket teeth are hooked or sharp, or rollers show flat spots or bearing play, replace them with the new tracks. Worn undercarriage parts will chew up your new tracks. Shop undercarriage parts.
What's the warranty?
Every TrackTECH rubber track carries a 24-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Tracks are covered for normal jobsite use.
How fast do you ship?
In-stock CTL tracks ship same-day on orders placed before 12 PM EST. Free freight to the lower 48 states. Heavy items move by LTL freight. Track your shipment any time on our shipping page.
