Rubber Track Installation Guide
Before installing new rubber tracks, confirm the replacement size, clean the undercarriage, inspect wear parts, install carefully, and recheck track tension after a short test run.
Installation Checklist
- Park the machine on level ground and follow safe service procedures.
- Confirm the replacement track size matches the old track or verified fitment data.
- Release track tension according to the machine service process.
- Remove the old track and clean packed debris from the frame.
- Inspect sprockets, rollers, idlers, and tension hardware.
- Install the new rubber track without forcing it over damaged components.
- Set proper track tension.
- Run the machine slowly forward and backward, then recheck alignment and tension.
Inspect Undercarriage Parts Before Installing
Worn sprockets, seized rollers, damaged idlers, and bad tension components can shorten new track life. Replace worn undercarriage parts before putting the machine back into production.
