Choose the Right Track Size for Your Needs
Mini excavators use 52.5mm, 72mm, and 72.5mm pitch tracks. Common sizes include 230x96x36, 250x72x45, 300x52.5x80, 300x52.5x84, 350x52.5x86, 400x72.5x72, 400x72.5x74, and 450x71x82.
Compact Track Loader Sizes
CTLs predominantly use 86mm pitch tracks. Popular sizes include 320x86x49, 320x86x52, 400x86x52, 400x86x56, 450x86x55, 450x86x56, and 450x86x60.
Skid Steer Track Sizes
Skid steer-to-track conversions and smaller CTLs often share track sizes. The most common include 320x86x49, 320x86x52, and 400x86x52.

Understanding Track Size Numbers
Track sizes are expressed as three numbers: Width x Pitch x Links. For example, 450x86x56 means:

450: Track width in millimeters (approximately 17.7 inches)

86: Pitch — the spacing between drive lugs in millimeters

56: Total number of drive lugs around the entire track

All three dimensions must match your machine's specifications. Installing tracks with incorrect pitch or link count causes improper engagement, accelerated wear, and potential derailment.

Guide Pattern Configurations
Beyond dimensions, tracks must match your undercarriage's guide pattern. TrackTECH stocks multiple guide configurations for each track size:

W-Guide (Wide): Two guides with wide spacing

N-Guide (Narrow): Two guides with narrow spacing

T-Guide (Offset): Asymmetric guide placement

B-Guide (Block): Solid center guide
