What size track fits a CAT 299D3?
The 299D3 uses a 450x86x60 rubber track — the same size as the 299D, 299C, 289C and 279C.

What size track fits a CAT 277?
The 277 is a multi-terrain loader and uses a wide 457x101.6x56 ASV-style track. The 287 uses 457x101.6x50; the 257 and 247 use 381x100.5x42.

What's the difference between CAT C, D, D2 and D3 tracks?
They're machine generations on shared frames. The same frame usually shares a track width, but link counts and guide types can change between generations — confirm the size stamped on your current track.
