CAT 259D Heavy-Duty Rubber Tracks | 320x86x53 & 400x86x53
Heavy-duty replacement rubber tracks for the CAT 259D Compact Track Loader, offered in 320x86x53 and 400x86x53 sizes. Both widths are used to tune the machine for the work: the narrower footprint favors ground pressure and pushing performance on firm surfaces, while the wider footprint favors flotation, stability, and reduced surface disturbance.
Choose Track Width for the Application
320x86x53: The narrower track concentrates machine weight over a smaller contact area, increasing ground pressure and helping the loader put more pushing force into firm ground. It is also typically the lower-cost replacement option.
400x86x53: The wider track spreads machine weight across a larger footprint for lower ground pressure, improved flotation, and less disturbance in mud, sand, soft soil, landscaping, and finish-grade work.
Choose the Tread for the Work
-
C-Block: Rugged all-around tread with broad blocks for stable ground contact, dependable traction, and strong wear performance across dirt, gravel, hardpack, rock, concrete, and general construction.
-
Multi-Bar: High-contact bar tread for smooth travel, consistent traction, and controlled surface disturbance across dirt, sand, packed ground, wet conditions, and hard flat surfaces.
-
Zig-Zag: Aggressive stepped tread with multiple biting edges for mud, wet clay, snow, loose soil, slopes, and changing seasonal conditions.
-
Staggered Block: Alternating block placement balances traction, stability, and ride quality across mixed dirt, gravel, and hardpack.
-
X-Terrain: Open, aggressive tread for loose, uneven, and severe off-road conditions where cleanout and ground engagement are the priority.
Heavy-Duty Track Construction
Advanced abrasion-resistant rubber, a continuous steel-cord core, and drop-forged, heat-treated steel links provide the strength required for repeated pushing, turning, loading, grading, and travel. Reinforced internal construction helps maintain dependable sprocket engagement while resisting stretching, cuts, tearing, chunking, and premature abrasion.
Undercarriage & Track Life
Inspect sprockets, rollers, idlers, alignment, and track tension before installation. Worn mating components or incorrect tension can accelerate track wear and reduce service life. Set final track tension to the machine manufacturer's service specification after installation.
Warranty & Support
Nationwide fulfillment is available, backed by a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects and application support when needed.
