What to replace with new tracks
Replace undercarriage parts by actual condition and Bobcat service limits, not by a fixed calendar. Hooked sprockets, leaking or seized rollers, loose idlers and a weak tensioner can shorten new-track life.
Symptoms that point to a component problem
- Ratcheting / skipping: inspect tension, sprocket profile and drive-lug engagement.
- Track keeps coming off: inspect tension, idlers, rollers, guides and frame alignment.
- One-sided track wear: inspect roller/idler alignment and seized components.
