What to inspect before installing new tracks
- Idlers: side play, leakage, flange damage and alignment.
- Rollers: bearing play, leakage, flat spots, binding and damaged flanges.
- Sprockets: hooked, pointed or one-sided tooth wear where a sprocket is part of the current machine catalog.
- Tension system: usable adjustment travel and the ability to hold the manufacturer's specified tension.
- Frame and guards: bent steel, packed debris or contact marks that could force the belt off line.

Do you replace all undercarriage parts with new tracks?
No. Replacement should be condition-based. Reuse components that remain within the machine manufacturer's service limits, and replace the parts that are worn, seized, leaking, misaligned or actively damaging the belt.
