The Bobcat T770 should not be presented as a one-width application. TrackTECH's governed fitment catalog currently contains two merchant-confirmed T770 configurations: 400x86B55 and 450x86B55. Both require exact-size confirmation before ordering by model alone.
Bobcat T770 Track Sizes
| Confirmed size | Status |
|---|---|
| 400x86B55 | Merchant-confirmed; exact-size confirmation required |
| 450x86B55 | Merchant-confirmed; exact-size confirmation required |
Both share 86mm pitch, 55 links, and the governed B-guide family. Width is the variable. Do not assume that every T770 should be converted to 450mm simply because that width is common.
How to Confirm Your T770
- Read the molded size on the existing track.
- Match width, pitch, links, and guide geometry.
- If you are considering a width change, confirm the machine configuration first.
- If the track marking is unreadable, send TrackTECH the machine information needed to verify fitment.
Tread Pattern Comes After Fitment
Once 400mm versus 450mm is confirmed, choose tread for the actual jobsite. Hard surfaces, mixed dirt, mud, and sensitive ground reward different tread characteristics. See the tread-pattern guide for the trade-offs.
Inspect the Undercarriage at the Same Time
Check sprockets, front and rear idlers, bottom rollers, alignment, and tension before putting new rubber into service. A correct new track on badly worn steel can still wear prematurely.
Browse Bobcat rubber tracks, use the Rubber Track Finder, or call (850) 816-7898 for fitment confirmation.
