TrackTECH Customer Case Studies

Real contractors, real machines, real outcomes. These case studies show how TrackTECH rubber tracks and undercarriage parts performed in the field — and what the buyers learned about fitment, tread choice, and ordering for their fleets.

Featured Stories

Site-prep contractor, Florida — Bobcat E26 fleet, 6 machines

Challenge: A small site-prep crew running six Bobcat E26 mini excavators on residential foundations was burning through OEM tracks at 800 hours each due to abrasive sandy soil and frequent driveway crossings.

Solution: Switched to TrackTECH 300x52.5Nx80 Directional tracks across all six machines. Continuous steel cord construction and harder rubber compound handled the abrasive surfaces better than the original OEM blend.

Result: Service life jumped to 1,400 hours average. Per-hour track cost dropped 38%. Shop 300x52.5Nx80

Land-clearing operation, Texas — Kubota SVL75-2

Challenge: 24" Zig-Zag tracks were tearing up newly-cleared land and leaving deep ruts that the customer was paying to fill back in.

Solution: Moved to 400x86Bx52 Multi-Bar tread for the same machine — lower ground pressure, gentler footprint.

Result: Eliminated re-grading callbacks. Customer extended the contract for two more seasons. Shop 400x86x52

Rental fleet, Mid-Atlantic — 14 CTLs across 4 sizes

Challenge: Rental yard needed predictable track inventory across a mixed fleet (CAT 289D3, Bobcat T770, Kubota SVL95-2, John Deere 333G) without tying up cash in dealer-grade tracks.

Solution: Standardized on TrackTECH C-Block treads for the harder-use rentals and Zig-Zag for general-purpose units. Set up a quarterly reorder cycle keyed off hour-meter readings.

Result: Track inventory carrying cost dropped 22%. Zero unplanned downtime from waiting on dealer tracks.

What These Have In Common

The buyers who got the best results all did three things:

  1. Matched tread to jobsite — not the cheapest option, the right option
  2. Confirmed fitment before ordering — called (850) 816-7898 or used the Rubber Track Finder
  3. Replaced in pairs, with worn undercarriage parts — see When To Replace Rubber Tracks
