Case TR310 Rubber Track Size — Fitment, Tread & Replacement Guide

The Case TR310 is a mid-frame CTL built for general construction, grading, and material handling. If you need replacement tracks, here's the fitment breakdown.

Case TR310 Track Specifications

The TR310 uses a 400x86x50 rubber track with a B-guide. Width is 400mm (16 inches), pitch is 86mm, and each track has 50 links. This is the same track size used by the Case TR310B and several equivalent machines in the Case/New Holland lineup.

Tread Pattern Selection

C-Block is the most versatile option for the TR310. The staggered block tread handles everything from paved surfaces to moderate gravel without excessive wear. For contractors working primarily in mud, clay, or wet conditions, Zig-Zag provides better self-cleaning and traction. On demolition sites or rocky terrain, X-Terrain resists chunking and premature wear.

Maximizing Track Life on the TR310

The TR310's operating weight of around 8,500 lbs means tracks see significant ground pressure. Three things will extend track life more than anything: maintaining proper tension, avoiding high-speed turns on hard surfaces, and matching your tread pattern to your primary working surface. Operators who frequently work on asphalt or concrete should avoid aggressive turning, which grinds down tread blocks quickly.
