Bobcat Mini Excavator Rubber Track Size Chart & Fitment Guide

"A track for a Bobcat mini excavator" is not an order you can fill. Bobcat has built compact excavators from under a tonne to over eight, and TrackTECH currently governs 118 Bobcat excavator models across 25 distinct track configurations. The badge on the side of the machine tells you almost nothing about the belt. The size does.

This guide lists every Bobcat mini excavator in the current TrackTECH catalog against its cataloged track size, so you can work from the size instead of the model name. Every size below comes from live TrackTECH fitment data. Nothing here is estimated.

Bobcat mini excavator track sizes by model

Sizes read width × pitch × links, in millimetres and link count. Find your model, then confirm the size against the belt actually on the machine before ordering.

Models cataloged with more than one size

92 of the 118 models above are cataloged with a single size. The other 26 can take more than one, which means the model name alone cannot resolve the order. For these, the undercarriage decides — read the belt, do not pick the closest-looking option:

  • 335, 335G, 430, 430-FASTTRACK, 430D, 430ZHS, 430ZTS, 435ZHS, E41, X430 — 300x52.5x92 or 320x54x90
  • 325, 325D, X325, X325D, X325G, X328, X328E — 300x52.5x74 or 320x54x72
  • X320, X320D, X320E — 230x48x66 or 250x72x45
  • E08, E10 — 180x72x39 or 250x72x39
  • 220 — 180x72x45 or 230x72x45
  • X225 — 300x52.5x74 or 320x100x40 or 320x54x72
  • E25 — 300x52.5x76 or 300x52.5x78
  • E42 — 300x52.5x92 or 350x52.5x92

How to verify before you order

  1. Read the molded size off the old track. It is the only source that describes your actual machine.
  2. Confirm all three numbers: width, pitch and link count. Two out of three is a wrong track.
  3. Note any guide designation stamped with the size — an N, W, K or similar letter. The letter is part of the fitment, and the table above lists the size without it, so take the letter from the machine rather than assuming one.
  4. If the molded size is unreadable, measure width across the full face of the track, then count the links all the way round.
  5. Still unsure, or your model shows two cataloged sizes? Use the rubber track finder or call (850) 816-7898 before ordering.

Check the undercarriage at the same time

Rollers, idlers and sprockets wear on the same clock as the belt. Fitting new rubber over a hooked sprocket or a seized roller is the fastest way to lose a new track early. Clean the undercarriage, then check sprocket tooth profile, idler and roller play, and track tension measured where Bobcat specifies it — packed mud and stone make a correct tension reading impossible.

Frequently asked questions

What size tracks fit a Bobcat mini excavator?

It depends entirely on the model. Across the 118 Bobcat excavator models in the current TrackTECH catalog there are 25 distinct track configurations, from 180x72x39 on an E08 to 450x81x76 on an E85. Use the table above to find your model, then confirm against the belt on the machine.

Why does my model list two different sizes?

Some Bobcat excavators were built with more than one undercarriage configuration, so two sizes are legitimately cataloged for the same model name. 26 of the 118 models here are in that position. The machine itself resolves it — read the molded size.

Can I fit a wider track than the one on my machine?

Not as a substitution. Width, pitch and link count all have to match what the undercarriage was built for. A wider belt that does not match pitch and links will not seat, and forcing it damages the machine before it damages the track.

Do you sell undercarriage parts as well as tracks?

Yes — sprockets, idlers and rollers are listed on each machine page alongside the tracks, where TrackTECH has governed fitment for them.
